I use a state-of-the-art dictation mask, laptop computers, digital recording equipment, and professional speech recognition and transcription software in my service whereby I can provide quick turn-around and multiple formatting options.

There’s a huge shortage of court reporters nationwide. With that being said, there are schools and resources available to educate yourself and become certified. Most of the schools are available online, self-paced and can prepare you for becoming certified in your home state or even nationally. You can become a court reporter at a fraction of the cost of a traditional college degree. Court reporting is a great career with tremendous flexibility and earning potential.
